Terms of Service

The simple ground rules that apply when you use our website or hire us for roofing work — written in plain English.

Last Updated: January 2026

These Terms of Service explain how things work between you and Rock Line Roofing, a local roofing company based in Dallas, TX serving the wider DFW area. They cover what you can expect from us when you reach out, request a service, or hire us for a roofing project — and what we expect from you in return. By using our website at www.rocklineroofing.com, contacting our team, or scheduling a service, you’re agreeing to these terms.

Who Can Use Our Services

Our roofing services are intended for adults who own a property, manage a property, or have the authority to make decisions about roofing work on it. If you’re requesting a service on someone else’s behalf, please make sure you have permission first.

If you’re under 18, please have a parent, guardian, or property owner submit any request for you.

What We Offer

Rock Line Roofing provides residential and commercial roofing services throughout Dallas and the DFW area. This includes roof inspections, repairs, replacements, leak fixes, storm and hail damage work, emergency tarping, flat and TPO roofing, metal roofing, multifamily roofing, coatings, maintenance, and gutter and flashing services.

The exact services available for your property depend on the type of roof you have, the scope of the project, and what’s reasonable for our team to handle. We’ll always be straightforward about what we can and can’t do for your specific situation.

How Service Requests Work

When you reach out — by contact form, phone, or email — here’s the general flow you can expect:

  • We’ll get back to you to gather a few basic details about your property and the work you’re considering
  • We’ll schedule a time to come out for an inspection or assessment
  • After looking at the roof in person, we’ll put together a written estimate or recommendation
  • If you decide to move forward, we’ll sign off on the project details and schedule the work

Anything you submit through our website is a request, not a confirmed booking. Service is officially scheduled once we’ve spoken with you and agreed on the details.

Your Responsibilities as a Customer

To make sure your project goes smoothly, there are a few things we’ll need from you:

  • Honest, accurate information about your property and the issue you’re dealing with
  • Reasonable access to the roof and surrounding work areas on the day of service
  • A clear yard or driveway where we can safely set up materials and equipment
  • Permission to do the work, if you’re not the property owner
  • Timely communication if something changes on your end — scheduling, payment, or otherwise

If something on your end gets in the way of the scheduled work — locked gates, blocked driveways, animals in the work area — we may need to reschedule.

Project Estimates & Agreements

Our estimates are based on what we see at the time of inspection. They’re not a fixed price set in stone. Roofs can hide surprises like soft decking, hidden water damage, or material issues that only show up once we open things up. If something changes the scope of the job, we’ll talk to you about it and get your sign-off before doing extra work.

Once you accept an estimate and we move forward, the written project agreement becomes the official set of terms for that specific job — and it takes priority over anything general on this page.

Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

We’ll always do our best to schedule your project at a time that works for you. Once a date is on the books, here’s how changes usually work:

  • Weather changes: Roofing is weather-dependent. Storms, rain, high winds, or extreme heat can force us to reschedule for safety. We’ll get in touch as soon as possible to set a new time.
  • Customer changes: If you need to reschedule or cancel, just give us a heads-up as early as you can. We’ll work with you.
  • Late cancellations: If a project is cancelled after materials have been ordered or crews have been dispatched, there may be costs already incurred that need to be addressed.

Payment

Payment terms for any roofing project are spelled out in the written agreement for that job. In general, you can expect a deposit or scheduling payment up front, with the balance due upon completion. Larger projects may use a milestone-based schedule.

If you’re working with an insurance claim for storm or hail damage, we’re glad to coordinate with your adjuster — but the agreement and the responsibility to pay ultimately stays with you as the property owner.

Communication

By submitting a form, calling, or emailing us, you’re giving us the okay to follow up regarding your inquiry or project. This may include appointment reminders, project updates, scheduling messages, or follow-ups after a service visit.

If you’d rather not receive non-essential follow-ups, just let us know and we’ll stop. You won’t lose access to anything important — service-related communication about an active project will still go through.

Website Use

Our website is here to share information about our roofing services and make it easy to get in touch. You’re welcome to browse it for personal or business purposes related to your own roof.

Please don’t use the site to do anything that could damage it, mislead other visitors, or break the law — like scraping content in bulk, trying to access restricted parts of the site, or submitting false or misleading information through our forms.

Content Ownership

The text, photos, project examples, logos, and other content on our website belong to Rock Line Roofing or are used with permission. You’re free to view and share our content for personal reference, but please don’t copy, republish, or use it for commercial purposes without checking with us first.

Limits of Our Responsibility

We work hard to provide quality roofing services and accurate information, but we can’t promise outcomes for things outside our control. To the extent allowed by law, Rock Line Roofing is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential issues that result from using our website or relying on its content alone — including content that hasn’t been verified by an in-person inspection.

Specific responsibilities, warranties, and obligations for any actual roofing project are spelled out in the written project paperwork — not on this page.

The written project agreement always controls. Anything on this page is general. For any specific job we do for you, the signed estimate or project agreement is the document that actually governs the work.

Resolving Disagreements

If something doesn’t go as expected, please come to us first. Most issues can be sorted out with a quick conversation — and we’d much rather hear about a concern early than find out about it months later.

If a more formal resolution is needed, these Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in or serving Dallas County.

Ending the Relationship

You’re free to stop using our website at any time, for any reason. We may also choose to limit access to the website or decline a service request — for example, if a request is outside our service area, outside our scope of work, or if there’s a safety or behavior concern that makes it unworkable. We’ll always be upfront about it when that happens.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time as our services, website, or applicable rules change. When we make meaningful updates, we’ll change the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page. Continuing to use our website or our services after an update means you’re good with the latest version.
