A straightforward look at what our website content means — and what it doesn’t — when it comes to your roof.

Last Updated: January 2026

Rock Line Roofing is a local roofing company based in Dallas, TX, serving homeowners, property managers, and business owners throughout the DFW area. The information on our website is here to help you understand what we do and the kinds of roofing problems we handle. It isn’t meant to replace a hands-on inspection or in-person advice from a professional. This page explains the limits of what you’ll find on our site so there’s no confusion.

General Roofing Information

The articles, service pages, blog posts, and other content on our website are meant for general information only. We try to keep things accurate and up to date, but roofing systems vary widely from one property to the next. What’s true for a typical Dallas-area home may not apply to yours.

Before making any decisions about a repair, replacement, or maintenance project, please don’t rely only on what you read online — including on our site. The right call always depends on what an experienced roofer sees in person.

Estimates

Any estimate we provide — whether casually over the phone, in writing after an inspection, or as a ballpark number on a service page — is based on the information we have at the time. It is not a fixed price or a guarantee.

Things like hidden water damage, deteriorated decking, code requirements, material price changes, or surprises uncovered during the work can change the final cost. We’ll always walk you through any change in scope or pricing before moving forward.

Roof Inspections

A roof inspection is a visual assessment based on what we can safely see and access at the time of the visit. It isn’t a destructive test, and it can’t reveal every possible issue inside a roof assembly.

Hidden problems — like moisture in insulation, slow leaks behind walls, or damage under intact shingles — may not always be visible during a standard inspection. We do our best to identify concerns and bring them to your attention, but no inspection can promise a 100% complete picture of a roof’s condition.

Storm & Hail Damage

Storm damage in the DFW area can look very different from one roof to the next. Two homes on the same street can come out of the same storm with completely different damage based on roof age, slope, materials, tree cover, and the direction the storm came from.

Anything we share about storm or hail damage on our website is general information based on common patterns we see in North Texas. It shouldn’t be used as a substitute for a proper inspection of your specific roof, especially when an insurance claim might be involved.

Emergency Response & Tarping

We do our best to respond quickly when roofing emergencies come up. After major storms or large-scale weather events in the DFW area, response times can be longer than usual because of how many calls come in at once.

Emergency tarping and other temporary protections are meant to limit further damage until a proper repair can be done. They are not permanent fixes and may not stop every leak in every situation. Please follow up with a full repair or replacement as soon as it’s reasonable to do so.

Warranties

Any warranty that applies to your roofing project will be spelled out in the written agreement or paperwork for that specific job. This may include a workmanship warranty from our team and a separate manufacturer warranty on the materials used.

Nothing on this website should be read as a warranty, guarantee, or promise about the lifespan of a roof, the performance of a material, or the outcome of a project. Warranties have specific terms, limits, and exclusions that only apply to your actual project paperwork.

Heads up: Warranty details, lengths, and coverage vary by project and manufacturer. Always check the written warranty you receive for the specifics.

Insurance Claims

We’re glad to help walk you through how a storm or hail damage claim typically works, and we often coordinate with insurance adjusters during the process. That said, we are not an insurance company, and we don’t decide whether a claim will be approved, denied, or how it will be paid out.

Any general information we share about claims, deductibles, or coverage is meant to help you understand the basics. The final decisions and terms come from your insurance carrier and your specific policy.

Photos & Project Examples

The photos and project examples on our website show real work we’ve completed. Results can vary based on the roof, the materials chosen, the condition of the existing structure, and many other factors. Your project won’t necessarily look identical or perform identically to anything shown on the site.

Third-Party Information & Links

Our website may link to outside resources — manufacturer pages, industry organizations, news articles, or other helpful references. Those links are there for your convenience.

We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, products, or practices. When you click through, you’re under their terms and policies, not ours.

No Professional Advice Online

Nothing on this website — including service pages, blog posts, FAQ answers, or other content — should be treated as professional advice for your specific roof, property, or situation. For real guidance, please get in touch and we’ll set up an inspection or talk through your options directly.

Limits of Our Responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, Rock Line Roofing isn’t responsible for any loss, damage, or issue that results from acting on information found on this website alone, without a proper in-person assessment.

We do our best to keep the site accurate, but we can’t promise that every detail is current at all times, and roofing best practices and code requirements can change.

Updates to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time as our services, website, or industry guidelines change. When we do, the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent change.
